Minecraft Indev introduced 12 versions during this period, adding armor, farming, furnaces, and a day-night cycle, making the game more survival-oriented compared to Classic.
Additions
General
- Day-Night Cycle: The sun and moon move across the sky, affecting gameplay.
- Farming: Players can plant seeds, grow wheat, and craft bread.
- Third-Person View: Toggled with the F5 key.

- Farmland: Dirt can be tilled and crops can be planted on it.
- Furnace: Used to smelt items such as ores and food.
