The Trails & Tales update is all about creativity, storytelling, and self-expression in Minecraft. Players are encouraged to craft their own stories, explore new environments, and showcase personal style in their worlds. Its main theme emphasizes representation, world-building, and interactive storytelling, allowing players to leave their mark on the game through customized creations and in-game narratives.

- Calibrated Sculk Sensor – Made from a sculk sensor and three amethyst shards; filters vibrations.
- Chiseled Bookshelf – Crafted with six wooden planks and three slabs; stores books, enchanted books, written books, and book & quills.
- Decorated Pot – Crafted using bricks or pottery sherds; decorative item.
- Hanging Signs – Crafted from six stripped logs and two chains; can be attached to walls or ceilings.
- Mob Head: Piglin Head – Obtained by killing piglins with charged creepers.
- Sniffer Egg – Found by brushing suspicious sand in warm ocean ruins; hatches into snifflets.
- Suspicious Gravel & Suspicious Sand – Can be brushed to reveal hidden artifacts.

Mobs
- Camel – Spawns in desert villages, can carry two riders, and can dash. Breeds using cacti.
- Sniffer – Hatches from sniffer eggs, digs out pitcher pods or torchflower seeds, breedable using torchflower seeds.

- Cherry Boat – Includes a chest variant.
- Bamboo Raft – Includes a chest variant.
Biome
- Cherry Grove – Features cherry trees and pink petals scattered across the ground.
Structures
- Trail Ruins – Buried structures found in taiga, snowy taiga, old growth forests, birch forests, and jungles. Contain four armor trims, seven pottery sherds, and a music disc.
Gameplay Mechanics
- Archaeology – Allows players to find artifacts by brushing suspicious sand or gravel.

Java Edition:

World & Event Content
Timeless Trails Adventure Map:
- Released for free on the Minecraft Marketplace by The Hive.
- Players explore cherry blossom villages, ancient caves, and deserts on camelback, learning new mechanics like archaeology, camels, armor trims, chiseled bookshelves, and sniffer plants.
Event Server:
